This is what Sammy looks like when she wants a cookie - only a lot more colorful. I took my time, drew this one out and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The background gave me some trouble as I thought it would...I repainted it three different times. If you don't like it I can always paint over it.

I love it!!! I think you really captured her face. I can't tell if the background is too dark or not.. It looks good to me but I may need to see it in person or beside Porter's painting. Great Job!! I can't wait to hang them in my house. I'm so excited!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it. The background definitely looks darker in the photo than in person I can paint it lighter though if you want. At first it was solid turquoise, but I thought it was boring so I redid it, then I didn't like the way it looked when I redid it so I painted it again...Bottom line - it looks even better in person :)
